PIKA Technologies is excited to announce the launch of its new feature set for host-based media processing technologies (HMP-X). With this recent technology expansion, PIKA is now able to deliver a market leading and comprehensive portfolio of call logging solutions.
The new feature set includes passive logging for VoIP systems, as well as SIPRec recording capability. As call logging becomes increasingly important to many industries for both security and quality control, this feature set gives PIKA a comprehensive suite of tools to support organizations that build customized call recording solutions.
“With a complete set of features at their disposal, developers can now create a single solution capable of logging in both passive or active modes for VoIP, analog (TDM) and/or digital interfaces,” says Wojciech Tryc, Chief Technology Officer at PIKA Technologies.
With the support for a SIPRec protocol, developers will now be able to meet the growing demand for distributed logging. In addition, PIKA’s SIPRec client also includes support for TDM interfaces— a unique feature that creates a seamless transition between TDM and VoIP systems.
“Eliminating the in-between technologies means that developers will be able to send audio streams and metadata to remote SIPRec servers in real time,” Tryc says. These new features complement PIKA’s existing digital and analog (TDM) support solutions, as well as existing recording features in both Linux and Windows. Features including call detail records (CDR), half- and full-duplex recording, voice activity detection, time stamping, and audio compression. These new solutions will also support current and future applications for speech/voice recognition, tone detection, and live listen-in.
With the latest expansion of its portfolio of call logging solutions, PIKA’s HMP logging platform has now evolved into a concise, customizable interface for modern call recording solutions.
