PIKA to Exhibit Enhanced Network Portfolio at CeBIT 2015 – Hall 13, Stand A76
Set to demonstrate latest VoIP firewall technology with cloud‐based enhancements
PIKA Technologies Inc., a market leader in the development of open source platforms for telephony networks and cloud‐based topologies announced today that they will be exhibiting their test telephony enabling solutions at CeBIT, March 16‐20 in Hanover, Germany.
“CeBIT is one of the most important events for us each year,” said PIKA CEO Peter Karneef. “This year we are especially pleased to be demonstrating our latest telecom technologies including the next release of our very successful PIKA μFirewall 2.0 which now offers unprecedented cloud support.”
In addition to new product demonstrations, PIKA executives and technology experts will be present throughout the event to meet with existing and prospective customers. “PIKA has had the good fortune to work with many carriers and other providers around the World,” said PIKA CTO Wojciech Tryc. “We’ve developed an important partnership with these customers and look forward to meeting with them and other interested parties, to showcase our latest portfolio offering and to discuss strategic initiatives where PIKA might provide technology support.”
At this year’s CeBIT event PIKA Technologies will be Platform demonstrating the following products:
μFirewall® 2.0 with Cloud Support
The PIKA μFirewall identifies and prevents toll fraud on a premise‐based IP PBX before it happens. The μFirewall analyses SIP packets through “deep packet” inspection at ‘wire speed’, prevents SIP denial‐of‐service (DoS) attacks and stops abnormal SIP protocol usage based on pre‐determined parameters. In addition to these features, the μFirewall release 2.0 is now enabled to deliver cloud‐based configuring for private, public and hybrid clouds. The μFirewall 2.0 also provides value added resellers with an ability to offer their own ‘cloud management as‐a‐ service’ to their clients under a white‐labeled program from PIKA Technologies.
PIKA μLog® Call Recording Probe
The PIKA μLog is the markets first telephony agnostic call recording probe. Built off the emerging SIPREC standard, the PIKA μLog processes the payload of SIP packets and formats them according to SIPREC before sending the resulting packets to the specified recording station. The μLog integrates with a broad array of SIP devices and directly supports virtually any network topology. In addition to its ease of use and simplicity of deployment, the μLog call recording probe eliminates the need for the deployment of PBX specific special agents that typically drives additional overhead on the proprietary PBX.
PIKA HMP X® Host Media Processing
The PIKA HMP X is an all‐software building block for creating high performance and reliable telephony/mobile solutions. With tens of thousands of ports deployed worldwide, PIKA’s HMP offers an easy to use and economical licensing mechanism. The HMP X includes two levels of its API: a very granular and flexible low‐level API in C and a quick to market, high‐level API that allows you to create your application on the platform of your choice. In addition, PIKA’s HMP X provides virtual machine support for both Linux and Windows, supports both narrow and wide band audio and delivers a flexible licensing model with node locking, floating and SaaS options to accommodate every business standard including monthly and perpetual licenses.
